Exploring Tannins + Rust Workshop with Robbersdaughter

Revamp your wardrobe with this method of natural dyeing, exploring the chemical interactions between tannin and iron to create lasting color. Using a variety of resist techniques, we will create striking patterns that will emerge after being soaked in an our natural dye solutions ranging from blue, purple, and black. This is a great workshop to alter stained or faded clothing! We will meet at the Eleventh House Vintage Shop and then make our way next door to the Clubhaus.

NOTE: This workshop is BYOC (Bring Your Own Clothing). White/ light colored clothing made from natural fibers (like cotton, linen, silk, or bamboo) are recommended. Need a piece to work on? Visit Eleventh House Vintage in advance to find the perfect piece, swap with a friend, or dig at your local thrift!
